"I checked lacountyfair before going so…"
I checked LA County Fair before going so I’d have an idea of what to expect, but once we got there, it was frustrating. I asked a basic question about where to go for tickets and got sent to the wrong place twice. It really felt like the staff either didn’t know or just didn’t want to deal with me. A few people acted annoyed, like I was interrupting them, and I ended up feeling ignored. The fair itself might be fun, but the whole experience started off stressful, especially after paying that much. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back.

"The security screening was the worst part of..."
The security screening was the worst part of the whole visit. Maybe I was just unlucky or expected too much, but the lines barely moved, and different staff members kept giving different answers about what was allowed. I totally understand needing to keep everyone safe, but the whole thing felt stressful, disorganized, and a little rude. It was such a bad way to start the fair that I’m not sure I’d go back unless they seriously fix it

"Parking was such a hassle"
Parking was kind of a nightmare. It took us forever just to get in, the signs weren’t super clear, and after all that we still ended up paying and having to walk way farther than expected. Not the best way to start the fair, for sure

"The signs was really confusing"
We go to the fair and spent way too much time trying to figure out where things were. Some signs was tiny, other ones were just not there, and the maps didn’t really help much either. It get super frustrating, especially when you’ve got kids with you and everyone is tired.

"Getting in and out was a nightmare"
The traffic situation was a complete mess. It took forever just to get in, and leaving was even worse. I didn’t bother reaching out to customer service because, from past experience, I don’t really trust them to do much besides give a generic response. Definitely not planning to go back.

"Not Really a Place I’d Go Back to With Kids"
In the end, I left feeling more stressed than relaxed, and I wouldn’t rush back with my kids. It was really crowded and loud, and we had a hard time finding any quiet spots to just take a break. The costs also started adding up quickly, which made the whole day feel even less worth it. I was hoping for a fun family outing, but it ended up being more overwhelming than enjoyable.

"Website was honestly such a hassle"
Tried to buy tickets and check parking info on my phone, but the pages kept loading weird. The menus were confusing af and I had to click around way too much just to find basic stuff. Super frustrating tbh.

"Cell Service Got Annoying Fast"
I went to the LA County Fair and assumed everything would be easy since the website worked fine before I got there. Once I was inside though, my cell service kept cutting out, so loading tickets and checking details became a hassle quick. I’m guessing it was more of a crowd or service issue than totally their fault, but it still made things frustrating. Had a good time overall, just wish that part had been smoother.

"The fair had some fun moments…"
The fair had some fun moments, I’ll give it that... but wow, the facilities really took away from the day. The bathrooms were dirty, the floors were wet, and a few sinks didn’t even have soap. Trash cans were overflowing all over the place too. A lot of the seating areas looked sticky, like they hadn’t been wiped down in hours, and some toilets were out of order. For what we paid, it just felt gross... and made the whole day feel messier than it should have.

"Fun fair, but I wish they took sustainability seriously"
I had a good time at the LA County Fair overall, but the sustainability side was disappointing. There were so many single-use cups and plates, barely any recycling bins, and by the evening trash was all over the place. I kept finding myself having to explain to people where to toss things, or that there wasn’t even a recycling option nearby, which got old fast. For an event this big, I really expected them to have a better system. It kind of felt like the eco-friendly stuff was just an afterthought

"Checkout was a total mess"
I tried buying tickets and the checkout kept erroring out, but then my card still got charged. Super frustrating. I’m not sure, but it kind of feels like their payment system might be glitching or not talking to the ticketing side properly. Either way, it made the whole experience way more stressful than it needed to be.

"Rides were a little repetitive and didn’t feel totally safe"
To be fair, it might’ve just been a really busy day, but my experience wasn’t great. A lot of the rides felt similar, mostly the same spinny type of thing with different colors or themes, so it got boring after a while. A couple of the rides also made me a bit nervous because they didn’t look like they’d been checked very carefully, and the staff seemed rushed. I’m sure they were trying to keep things moving, but I didn’t feel as safe or relaxed as I’d hoped.

I was trying to buy tickets and the site seemed okay at first, I guess, but the payment options were limited. Maybe it works fine for some people, but there wasn’t an easy way for me to pay, so I ended up giving up...

I was about to buy tickets, but then I read their cancellation and refund rules. Yeah… no thanks. If your plans change, you’re pretty much trapped in their little “too bad, so sad” system. It really doesn’t feel customer-friendly at all. I’d only buy from here if I was 100% sure I could go, because their refund policy gives major ticket-trap vibes

"I went to the LA County Fair and..."
I went to the LA County Fair and had kind of a mixed time. The food was decent, the rides were fun enough, and the whole place had that classic fair vibe, but once I got over to the animal areas, I started feeling weird about it.
Some of the pens looked packed, and a few of the animals seemed stressed out from all the noise and people crowding around. Maybe I just caught it on a bad day, but part of me wondered if things were being made to look more okay than they really were. I wish they had more space and quieter spots for the animals, because that part definitely made me unsure about going back.

I had a frustrating time figuring out the cashless policy. It really wasn’t obvious on the site before I went, and it felt like the kind of thing you only find out once you’re already there. I don’t love being pushed to use a card for everything, especially when it makes me wonder if there are extra charges or little fees tucked in somewhere. Just wish they had been more upfront about it...

I tried checking the hours earlier in the week and then again the day I planned to go, but I still couldn’t tell when it was actually open. By the time I was ready to head over, I wasn’t confident enough to make the trip.

"Event details were really hit or miss"
I was looking forward to the event, but the times listed ended up being completely wrong. I planned my afternoon around it and basically wasted a bunch of time. Stuff like this feels hit or miss if the info isn’t kept updated

"Felt overpriced and kind of lifeless"
We paid way too much just to get through the gate, and then once we were inside, everything else cost extra too. Parking, food, rides — it all added up really fast. The whole place also had this weird “no real person there” feeling, like nobody was around to make the experience better or more welcoming. We walked around for a bit, got frustrated, and ended up leaving annoyed. For what you actually get, the admission price just doesn’t feel worth it unless they lower it.
